Something extra ;)

Good morning all!! Hope everyone’s doing well. Today I’m going to mention the guest speaker my teacher brought into call a couple weeks ago. He works for a company called BECON that aids filmmakers trying to get anything they need.

When he came, he spoke about a number of things ranging from tips that help enhance films to offering film equipment for free if needed. My favorite tip he talked about was having the ability to imagine the film you’re creating from the audience's point of view. While working on my film his advice has heavily influenced my actions, every scene that I plan I try and think what a viewer who has no background information would think. I’ve talked with my groupmates about changing 4 scenes because it wouldnt resonate with the audience the way I thought it would, we ended up only changing 2 of them.

Sound and Video was very clear on Jonathan’s camera for the most part. However, when we were filming the phone call portions of a scene the camera didn’t pick up the sound too well. We resolved this issue by finding an audio clip online of a phone ringing and playing it through a speaker at the same time we were filming the scene.
