Storyboard practice

 Welcome to my story board about one of my favorite movies ever SPY KIDS

Spy kids is a movie about a mother and father who are both ex-spies and got kidnapped by an evil mastermind leaving their children to figure it out by themselves. Juni and Carmen their daughter and son end up learning to fly jets, drive submarines, and travel across the globe in order to save their parents.

While storyboarding I’ve learned that sketching from the perspective of the camera angle is very important. Originally while I was doing my story board I was relying on my captions and drawing from a standard perspective instead of the angle the camera was facing. BUT I ended up redoing my storyboard, trying to draw more descriptive, and not have to rely on captions to really explain the scene. 

In the first drawing of my storyboard, it shows the mother picking up the secret message printed from a fake telephone. The secret message shows her a picture of an agent, that went missing. After this scene it cuts to Juni the younger brother watching his favorite children show.  After there's a quick cut scene to the mother and father driving the kids to school from an outside perspective. Then in box 3 it cuts to inside the car where Juni and his older sister Carmen star begin arguing about the show he's watching and about his bad habit of picking at his fingers. In the fourth box you can see him watching his show through a mini tv that's connected to the back of the headrest and it cuts back and forth between the mother and father and Juni and carmen. The last box shows the father looking at the secret message that was received earlier and then the video ends.
