Outfitsss

Hey all welcome back to my blog. Today we’re talking about our costume choices!!! We put a lot of thought into these costumes(Jasmines and Jonathan’s specifically)…Let’s get into it!!!

First let’s start with Jonathan’s fit. Jonathan’s outfit is a white shirt, red letterman jacket, black jeans, and red/white sneakers. This outfit adds to his character as a letterman jacket is associated with the “popular jock” stereotype. It adds to his cocky personality seen briefly before during his phone call with his girlfriend jasmine. Before the audience actually gets a glimpse of Jonathan, he calls Jasmine and tells her “come outside and don’t take all day”.

 

Jasmine is wearing a sleeveless white cropped shirt, light blue jeans, and white open toed sandals. Open toed sandals were chosen specifically so her white newly painted toes could be shown. Emphasizing her need to keep her appearance as clean and put together as she can. Her outfit is something any typical teenager would wear, however the exaggerated compliments she recieves from her best friends show her high social status. Her hair is in long black locs, mostly down with two pieces of hair framing her face and two pieces from the side pulled back to create a little ponytail. (Shown above)
